I often update these pages and since the majority of my website traffic is via cell phones, I like to remind individuals to refresh their browser.  I say that because a lot of times the browsers do not automatically update the page.

I realize the pages are not loading as they should, it is due to the high number of visits to my site.  I am upgrading and the new plan should be in place by 2.16.19

A fifth grader at Venice Elementary is hit by a vehicle while riding his bicycle to school

By Francesco Abbruzzino, The Scoop News

Another bicycle versus vehicle incident occurred today in Venice.  It happened this morning, while a student at Venice Elementary School was riding his bicycle to school.

According to the City of Venice’s PIO, the child is in the 5th grade at VES.   He was riding to school, when a driver breached the crosswalk and struck the young child.   There was a witness on hand, who helped the child with his injuries which were minor.

It appears that bicycle versus car incidents may be a thing of the future as the local governments continue to move forward with the bicycle friendly concept, which are pushing more bicyclist onto the roadways and off the sidewalks.

Thoughts?
