I often update these pages and since the majority of my website traffic is via cell phones, I like to remind individuals to refresh their browser.  I say that because a lot of times the browsers do not automatically update the page.

I realize the pages are not loading as they should, it is due to the high number of visits to my site.  I am upgrading and the new plan should be in place by 2.16.19

Manatee County Search & Rescue announces that a retired K9 has passed away

Manatee County Search & Rescue
We delayed making this announcement as it’s been a rough couple of days.
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of K-9 Trapp on Friday February 8th. K-9 Trapp served as a Track/Trail K-9 from 2007-2013 when he was shown to have signs of cancer. K-9 Trapp was then retired where he lived the rest of life with his family but always a part of this team.
K-9 Trapp was more than just a dog, he was a member of his family and this organization. He committed his life to locating the missing and did so selflessly. K-9 Trapp was 14 years old at the time of his passing. We as a family feel the pain of the loss of a member of our team.
While sad, we know that he is no longer in pain. May the track always continue and the sun always shine for K-9 Trapp, rest easy friend, we have the watch from here.
