North Port: Local teens invited to “Teen Talk,” provide ideas, feedback to Parks & Recreation on May 10

Local teenagers are invited to have a conversation with the City of North Port’s Parks & Recreation Division at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Morgan Family Community Center. Free food will follow the discussion.

Deemed “Teen Talk,” the event is designed to provide local teens a venue to express ideas and provide feedback about their local community center, including the teen lounge and game room. The City’s Parks & Recreation Division is seeking ideas about future programs, activities, equipment, and more. No membership or registration is required to participate.

“The Morgan Center is located right next to a middle school and high school. Naturally, it is a hub of activity for local teens,” said Tricia Wisner, Parks & Recreation Manager. “We want to hear about the kinds of things they want to see in the future and what we can do to meet their needs.”

All teens are welcome to attend and encouraged to bring a friend.
