NPPD nabs one of those special Hurricane Irma looters in North Port
NPPD – If you’re going to break into your neighbors home during a hurricane while they are out protecting the public and steal items, perhaps you do not want to be seen wearing said items when they return.
Jeffery Burger(32) of North Port arrested Tuesday and charged with four felonies and a misdemeanor for taking a weapon, TV, laptops, dvd players, video game consoles, and medications to name a few items. He broke in and blew off with the goods the night of Hurricane Irma from his neighbors who work in law enforcement and fire rescue, while they were dealing with the storm.
Burger was literally wearing the victims shoes when they came over to ask if he saw anything. We can’t make this stuff up. BTW the charges are enhanced due to the state of emergency. #fairlybadlifechoice
