WHEN: Thurs., March 1st
TIME: 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
WHERE: Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall – 777 N. Tamiami Trail

 

There will be no formal presentation. Please plan to arrive any time between 4:30 p.m. & 6:30 p.m.

U.S. 41 UPDATE – As FDOT Southwest Florida moves forward with the construction of roundabouts at 14th St. & 10th St., there are notable changes along U.S. 41:

 

🔸Traffic shift for NB & SB lanes is now in effect

🔸NO left turns – both NB & SB — between
14th St. & 10th St. This includes turning left
into Whitaker Gateway Park.




🔸Speed limit is reduced to 30 MPH

🔸Speeding fines are doubled in the
construction area when workers are
present

🔸Effective Monday, February 19th, access to
the 10th Street Boat Ramp via 10th Street
will cease. Access will be limited to U.S. 41.

 

Shows at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall will go on! Please give yourself extra time to arrive. And, be patient when exiting.

 

The FDOT community outreach team is scheduling a neighborhood update meeting. We’ll share that information as soon as it’s available.
