Sarasota Police: Bradenton man charged with Robbery & Possession of a Firearm (video)
Ryheme Livingston, 25, of Bradenton, has been arrested for Robbery with a Firearm (felony) and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon (firearm) following a robbery that happened at Central Snappy, 1159 Central Avenue, Sarasota.
At approximately 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, January 6, 2019, Detectives believe Livingston walked into the store and pointed a gun at the clerk. The clerk told Detectives he recognized Livingston, thought he was joking and told him to stop. Livingston continued pointing the gun at the clerk and told him to get down on the ground. Livingston asked the clerk where the money was, and he pointed to a bag under the counter. Livingston grabbed the bag and ran out of the store with an unknown amount of cash.
On Thursday, January 10, 2019, Livingston was stopped during a traffic stop. He was arrested for driving while license suspended and a drug charge. Livingston was then taken to the Sarasota Police Department to be interviewed about the robbery. Following the interview, Livingston was arrested for Robbery with a Firearm. He’s being held at the Sarasota County Jail.
