The City of North Port is looking for participation in helping us mold the future of some of our oldest neighborhoods

The City of North Port is looking for participation in helping us mold the future of some of our oldest neighborhoods. City Planners will be discussing five of the City’s original 1950’s & 1960’s neighborhoods, looking for public input. It will help to identify neighborhood strengths and weaknesses and develop strategies for a sense of place and long term quality housing. Wants like lighting and sidewalks to name a few. Using a grant from the Department of Economic Opportunity with the State, a consultant will then take the ideas and draw up a plan. Residents in those neighborhoods will be receiving a public notice in the mail any day now. Please join us!

WHERE:Boys & Girls Club 6851 S. Biscayne Drive, North Port
