Here is the video clip of the eagle release last weekend.
We were fortunate enough yesterday to release this female bald eagle back into the wild. She was found toxic and on the ground, no flight about a week and a half ago. She was rehabilitated and we could tell by her brood patch that she had been laying on eggs.
She was released at the location where she was found and flew off into a couple different pine trees and we were able to locate the nest where we saw the male incubating the eggs. A happy ending and another successful release. Thank you everyone for your continued support and we thank all of our amazing volunteers and staff for their hard work and dedication to help all of our sick, injured and orphaned wildlife.
