Recycling collection

There will be no recycling collected in the City of Venice UNTIL Monday, Sept. 18.

The City will start normal recyclables collection Monday and continue through the week, collecting customers’ materials on their normal pickup day.

 

Garbage and yard waste

Solid Waste collection of garbage and yard waste ONLY in the City of Venice has resumed today, Wednesday, Sept. 13. Prepare to have your garbage and yard waste to the curb on your next regular pickup day.

Yard waste should be bagged, bundled or tied (if at all possible), 40 pound weight limit, with nothing longer than 4 feet (please cut to size). Please separate yard waste, aluminum, roofing materials, etc. into separate piles. Solid Waste is working to schedule a bulk yard waste pickup for customers.

A reminder that sandbags are a homeowner’s responsibility and Solid Waste will NOT be picking them up.
