As you can see, the Mayor just did not have time to cover businesses being forced to close and savings being depleted, as covered in this article that had a ton of shares and views.

Mike,
I believe Kathleen is working on it as I have seen your communication with her. You know that council cannot discuss anything that may be voted on in the near future without a meeting. I will and have talked with Kathleen, but that is only one on one. If we get heavy rain from this weather event, the project may slip even further. There are some things that we can’t control, I am trying to focus on those that we can control.

Does that mean nothing will be done regarding the construction delay until the next Council Meeting?  The longer this item goes unattended, the less time there will be to react.

Mike,
There were several items that were not on the agenda that were not brought up due to the length of the meeting. They will be placed on the next agenda.

Good Morning John,
Just went through the tape on yesterday’s Council Meeting.  Other than the presentation by Janice Reardon, I couldn’t find any discussion by Council on the delay for completing Venice Ave.
Where is this going?  Will there be any discussion regarding getting the project back on the original schedule?
Regards,
Mike
