This year we have the honor of hosting the 33rd Annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service on Tuesday, May 15

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office will host the 33rd Annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. The event is held each year during National Police Week, which is May 13-19, 2018.

The memorial service will be held at 9:00 a.m., outside the sheriff’s office headquarters, 6010 Cattleridge Blvd., Sarasota. Front desk services will be limited from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. During that time, citizens are asked to consider calling 941.861.5800 or visiting the sheriff’s office headquarters after the ceremony is concluded.

In addition to the sheriff’s office, participating agencies include the Sarasota, Venice, North Port, and Longboat Key Police Departments, Florida Highway Patrol, Sarasota County Board of County Commissioners, State Attorney’s Office, Sarasota County Fire Department, Sarasota Memorial Hospital Public Safety, USF Sarasota-Manatee Campus Police, Sarasota Bradenton Airport Authority, and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
