Email To The Scoop News - Two trucks have slid into the water at the train station, due to some slimy algae
Bobby Nowlan
Hey Frankie. Just wanted to send you a quick message about the Venice Ave. train station boat ramp. I’m not sure who’s responsibility it is to maintain the ramp? In the past couple weeks there have been two trucks I know of slide into the water because it’s so slimy with algae. Both trucks were in park with the emergency brake on. I also know of some one who fell and broke their arm. It’s becoming a big safety hazard. We made a phone call to the county but that got no where. I have enclosed a couple of pics. You can see where people have been spinning their wheels just trying to get up the ramp. The next vehicle they pull out of the water ain’t gonna be at the jettys! It’s gonna be at the boat ramp! I knew if there was anyone in venice that could make something happen it is you! Thank you sir.
