Suncoast:  Police Detectives have charged 24-year-old Catallino Reyes with Felony Murder

PRESS RELEASE UPDATE:

Bradenton Police Detectives have charged 24-year-old Catallino Reyes of Bradenton with Felony Murder in this case. Reyes was injured in the original incident and is still receiving medical treatment. He will remain in police custody while receiving treatment and will be transported to the jail once released from the hospital. Detectives are still actively working this case and more information will be released when available.

Original Release:

On February 11th around midnight, the Bradenton Police Department responded to the 2100 block of 7th Avenue East for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found 24-year-old Joshua Gonzelez (date of birth December 4, 1994) of Bradenton deceased from injuries related to a shooting. While conducting the investigation, two other victims with injuries consistent to Gonzelez’s have been found. Detectives are currently working to determine if these cases are related.

Detectives are treating the investigation into Joshua Gonzelez’s death as a homicide.
