I did reach out to the PIO at the NPPD for information and Josh sent me the Probable Cause Affidavit, which breaks down the NPPD’s version of this story. I did research anonymous’s arrest and she was arrested for:

That does not mean she is guilty, nor should the previous arrest open the door for any officer to exhibit any of the actions that anonymous indicated in her email to me.
OK, you now have the NPPD’s and anonymous’s side of the story. It is up to a judge to decide now.

HI I am not sure how this works but I want people to hear my story. I also want to stay anonymous.
On 4/21 we had our carpets cleaned and decided to take the kids to the park while they dried. Upon arriving home around 1245 there was a real estate agent at our home along with several Sarasota county deputies, North port police officers and men from a moving a moving company called greco.
We were told by one of the Sarasota county deputies that we were not allowed on the property. We were not allowed in the house and we’re not allowed to pack our own things.
The house we were living in was a foreclosure but the owner was fighting it. We are not sure as to what happened but no one was notified of the court hearing on 4/20. Nor were we giving a 24 hr notice to be out.
Needless to say as much as we were upset about the whole situation neither one of us wanted to go to jail so did as the officers said.
One of the officers told me to walk along the other side of the house so I did as he said. Upon doing this another officer came up in my face yelling at me to get off the property and forced me down in the ditch. I told him the other officer said I could walk along this side of the house and continued walking down along side the ditch were this second officer had forced me to walk.
While walking along side the ditch a north port officer came over to were I was walking and bumped into me. He immediately grabbed my arm spun me and around and yelled really your going to shoulder bump me and put me in cuffs. I did not shoulder bump him. He purposely ran into me so he could arrest me.
I started explain to him and the sgt that I didn’t do anything wrong I was doing what I was told by one officer and these 2 officers start forcing me into the ditch and bump into me and flip the script to make it look like I touched him when I didn’t. The sgt told me that as long as I stay off the property and walk in the road from here on out that he would have the officer release me and not press any charges on me.
Well upon unpacking everything at our new place we noticed a lot of stuff not only broken and damaged but missing.
Once we finally unpacked everything I decided to make a police report for theft of the items we were missing.
I made the theft report on 4/25. The officer took our statements and told me a detective would be in touch with us in regards to our stolen property. Mind you a lot of the stolen property belonged to my son who is under 10.
The detective called me today 5/3 and told me that he found my sons ipod at a pawn shop and wanted to meet up so I confirm if it belonged to my son. I was so happy because my son was going to get some of his stuff back.
Well once I met up with this detective a bunch of np police start showing up. Next thing you know I’m in hand cuffs. I’m being arrested for what took place on 4/21, the “shoulder bumping” incident.
This detective set me up. He knew I had a warrant and used my sons missing items to get me to meet him so I could be arrested. That’s entrapment not to mention just cruel. He used my child’s belongings, who does that?
After bonding out I found out that the officer who originally put me in cuffs on 4/21 filed the charges on me the same day I reported my items stolen, 4/25. Coincidence? I think not. This officer is known for lying and being rough with people.
I am so sick of these officers doing what they want all because they have a badge.
Because of his allegations I am now being charged with 2 crimes in which one is a felony. This situation has went to far and my family and I are suffering from it all because their is still corruption in the north port police dept.
I am disgusted in how corrupt our system has become and am disappointed that nobody is doing anything about it to fix it.
I don’t see how they can charge me for something I didn’t do let alone charge me with these so called crimes 4 days after the incident took place.
My family and I are the victims in this case, we are the ones that are suffering because of his false accusations.
If anything he should be charged with battery, he’s the one that “shoulder bumped” me to get me to go down further into the ditch. But because I don’t have a badge I can’t request for him to be arrested let alone charged with battery.
Seriously the chief needs to start making some major changes in his police department if he wants the community to restore their faith in his police department.
Again I would like to stay anonymous but just wanted to share my story so the people know there is still corruption in the police dept.
