Just wanted to give you a heads-up. My good buddy, Tim DeForest, is giving a lecture at the South Venice library this Thursday at 5 PM on this history of American Comic Books and Comic Strips. He works at Ringling college, has written several books on American pop culture, and was the author of Encyclopedia Britannica’s articles on Marvel and DC comics.
